Catch No.9 is a piece rooted in my Gaspé Coast origins, where the sea has always been both a guide and a source of wonder. Born from my deep love and fascination for the ocean, this work captures the enchanting, slightly mystical quality of the waters that shaped my childhood.
The composition reflects a place of calm and renewal, a personal refuge, while echoing a universal truth: water connects us all. Through texture, movement, and light, Catch No.9 invites viewers to feel that connection and to find their own sense of home in its currents.
